My reason for standing is that I believe we need broader representation from non-political parties and local community members to shift the focus toward issues that truly affect our lives, our neighbourhoods, and the City of Doncaster — without being bound by national party politics.

We need:

  • More transparency in decision-making

  • Wider consultation

  • Faster action in delivery

  • Less box-ticking and bureaucracy that delays real change

Doncaster is facing serious challenges:

  • A city centre seen as unsafe and failing

  • Local communities suffering deprivation, poverty, child ill-health, and low employment — including in the Town Ward

These issues impact:

  • Mental health

  • Living standards

  • Business investment

  • Employment opportunities

  • And ultimately, how our City and communities are viewed nationally

I’m deeply passionate about Doncaster. I’ve promoted the city at regional, national, and international tourism events — showcasing our:

  • Heritage

  • Culture

  • Achievements

  • And most importantly, our people

But we must step up. We need to be recognised as a vibrant, energetic, can-do city that can deliver economic benefits to its people.

We all have a role. We must:

  • Take part

  • Take responsibility

  • Work together for a better future

If elected as your representative, I will:

  • Work with communities and for the wider City

  • Push for people-centred policies

  • Serve with integrity, honesty, and earn your trust

🗳️ Thank you for your consideration.
Whoever you vote for, please vote with your community and Doncaster’s future in mind.
Democracy is easy to lose, but hard to regain.

  • Real-world experience

  • A background in healthcare, education, business, tourism, and local government

  • A passion for people and communities

  • A belief that it’s better to try with care than to never try at all

My reason for standing is that I feel that we need to have a wider representation from non-political parties and people within communities to instigate a change of focus to address issues that affect our lives, local communities and the City of Doncaster as a place, without the burden of having to follow regional and national party policies.

There needs to be more transparency in decision making, wider consultation and faster action in delivery, reduce endless box-ticking and bureaucracy that delays actions.

Headline negatives of our city centre, being seen as unsafe, failing, local communities suffering high levels of deprivation, poverty, child ill-health, low employment in areas throughout the City including the Town Ward should not be where we are in 2025 or for the future..

These issues impacts peoples mental health, living standards, investment, businesses, employment, devalues our communities, and City, detracting from the positives of what people and the place can and has achieved and how we are viewed nationally.

I am passionate about Doncaster and have promoted the destination at regional, national and international tourism marketing events, it’s proud history of heritage, achievements, people and cultures as a place that people should visit. But we need to step up and need to become recognised as a vibrant, energetic and can-do City that could provide additional increased economic benefits for people and communities.

But we all need to be part of the process, take part, and take responsibility
If I am elected as your representative I will as one voice and with others work for communities and the wider City for policies and actions that are more people centred, and pledge to perform this duty with integrity, honesty and uphold the trust given to me.

I thank you for your consideration, whoever you vote for please consider carefully, for the future of our communities, and the City of Doncaster.
Democracy is easy to lose, but hard to regain
